Litigation Paralegal Construction Law and Community Association Law The candidate will handle non-routine situations, problems and deviations; must use independent judgment and initiative to determine approach or action to take in non-routine situations. Responsibilities include preparing pre-hearing briefs; monitoring deadlines; monitoring and managing attorney mail; preparing file summaries/file analysis; conducting necessary discovery to prepare for litigation; conducting legal research; preparing correspondence to clients/attorneys/other facilities; scheduling of depositions/ etc. Must have complex litigation experience and knowledge of both Federal and State Rules. Complex Litigation experience is required. Knowledge of Federal and State Rules is needed. Knowledge of preparing drafts: request, response, pleading, order, motion, etc. is essential. Strong computer skills with 55+ WPM are needed. Must have professional interpersonal and communication skills; communicate effectively with Attorneys and other professionals. Should have good analytical skills.
