Legal Secretary/Assistant The candidate primary duties are to serve as a Legal Assistant for the Law Firm. This will include working directly with the attorneys and other staff to facilitate high quality client relations and to direct the image of the law firm to the public. As the first line of contact to clients, the ideal candidate will possess high quality communication skills, have a positive personality, work well with others and take direction. The primary tasks for this position include: Coordinate all Phones, Office Calendars, and Scheduling. Engage in the Firm's Social Media Presence. Help Facilitate all aspects of the Client Intake Experience.. Coordinate Court Appearances/ hearings/ mediations/ depositions with opposing counsels and judicial administrators. Provide assistance to the attorneys and staff whenever needed. Help keep office organized. Take on some Paralegal roles as the need arises. This includes document drafting, filing, legal research, case management, etc. Engage in Document Discovery Processing, Must possess law firm secretarial experience and/or paralegal experience. Should have Advanced technology skills including document and case management in a paperless environment. Must have extremely high quality organization and communication skills. Should be Receptive of Feedback and Constructive Criticism. Should preferably have Speak Spanish.
