Paralegal / Client Service Professional The candidate will support of a senior tax attorney in Chicago office. Will make up the bulk of the responsibilities, they are to take priority. In this regard, legal support experience in a law firm is required. Specific responsibilities of the CSP include: Client intake - this covers initial due diligence (conflicts checking), and the client engagement process. Works closely with attorneys at firm as well as prospective clients; Client Invoicing - preparation of client invoices, editing of invoices, and sending of invoices to clients; A/R /collections - liaise with attorneys and clients regarding outstanding invoices. Proactive management of A/R. Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university is needed. Should have 3+ years of experience that can be applied to this position. Experience working in a professional environment (accountancy or law firm) with client contact a must. Legal support experience (paralegal/legal secretary) greatly valued. Strong communication skills. The CSP will be corresponding directly with our clients and must portray a professional image is needed. Experience with billing functions is a plus. Strong MS Office skill is essential. Should have significant experience in a legal support role, including transcription, dictation, proof-reading, and client communication experience.
