Associate Attorney The candidate should be an experienced personal injury attorney with jury trial experience. Must have the following experience with personal injury law: Working knowledge of MVAs, trucking, and premises liability cases from intake to trial. Ability to draft petitions, motions and discovery. Understanding and previous experience with meditations, negotiations and the complete discovery process. Ability to pick up a case file and prepare a case plan. Ability to prepare for and complete a jury trial. Will Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, consultants, opposing counsels and other third parties effectively. Build a good rapport with clients, manage and maintain appropriate client expectations. Maintain case information electronically such as: emails, time entries, documents, notes and messages. Consistently draft well written and well thought out letters, briefs, motions, contracts, and pleadings. Move cases forward by timely scheduling and daily review of all incoming documents, emails and requests. Meet with clients for case review and maintain all records electronically. Must have a Texas Bar License. 2 to 3 years related experience and/or training is preferred. Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
