Legal Secretary The candidate will be working with the Firm Managing Partner, associates, contract attorneys and business colleagues on a variety of requests and projects. Will: Draft, revise and finalize routine correspondence, memoranda and other legal/non-legal documents. File documents in federal and state courts, including e-filing in all courts; prepare documents for service of process; prepare case shell documents for use by attorneys. Proofread documents and check for appropriate formatting, attachments, spelling and grammar. Maintain good public relations with clients. Experience of 1 year (Preferred); Review all incoming mail, distribute to team as needed and upload to the DMS. Schedule appointments and arrange for meetings, depositions, court appearances, conferences and sometimes travel. Open new files and prepare files to be closed. Coordinate workflow with legal team members. Complete other duties and projects as assigned. Must have 5 years of litigation secretarial experience. Should have strong proofreading skills, attention to detail and solid grammar/spelling skills.
