Attorney The candidate will join real estate law firm. Work closely with the title division and the MD/DC Notices team to ensure accurate and efficient operational processes; assists with title claims and title curative. Review notices of sale for legal sufficiency for MD and DC foreclosure sales. Work a portfolio of pending Maryland probate cases. Attend hearings and court appearances on behalf of the law firm. Research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, codes and draft litigation for motions and responses. Prioritize and manage a high volume portfolio of work at a fast pace, with diligent attention to detail. Communicate with clients, internal staff and others to ensure cases are handled appropriately. Input and maintain information into the case management system and ensure data integrity. Establish a strong follow-up system to ensure deadlines are not missed for which various pleadings must be served and filed. Admission to the Maryland Bar required; DC and/or VA a plus. Familiarity with Real Estate law, Foreclosures and/or Bankruptcies is preferred. 1-3 years of Real Estate Law desired, but recently admitted attorneys are encouraged. The ideal candidate will have superior oral and written communication skills.
