Personal Injury Attorney The candidate will be responsible for own caseload of mostly car accident injury cases. Will have an extensive amount of client counseling and settlement negotiations so people skills are extremely important. After initial training, the attorney will lead a team of legal support assistants who will dedicate 100% of their time to supporting the attorney s caseload. Work closely with the firm s owner and alongside highly experienced staff. The attorney will get immediate hands on experience handling car accident cases from start to finish. Negotiate with insurance companies to obtain the best settlement offers or litigation if settlement cannot be obtained. Evaluate and obtain the evidence necessary to making a strong case. Provide peace of mind to clients by taking care of all of their injury related issues so they can focus on getting better. Work closely with support staff to efficiently represent clients through the team structure. Draft and review legal documents including demand letters, legal analysis and client advice. Should be a Maine licensed attorney. Must have passed the Maine Bar exam or have a Maine law license to be considered. Should have personal injury attorney experience but applicants with only real world experience are also encouraged to apply. Bilingual abilities in Spanish/English would be helpful.
