Legal Secretary Duties: Filing. Answering phones / taking messages. Copying. Faxing. Scanning. Sorting Mail. Organize records. Schedule depositions. Review, analyze and draft legal documents and correspondence. Prepare medical summaries. Assist with preparation, requests and responses to discovery items/ subpoenas. Research. Communicate and correspond with adjusters, witnesses and other attorney s offices. Identify deadlines and calendar accordingly. Qualifications: Prior law firm experience preferred. Experience in billing & tracking time. Must have excellent communication & prioritizing skills. Excellent computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Experience with case management and billing software is preferred. Detail Oriented. Able to manage a large caseload in a fast-paced environment and be pro-active with caseload. Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Self-Motivated individual willing to take direction from senior paralegal and learn quickly.
