Paralegal (Secondment) Duties: Undertake a variety of legal research and regulatory monitoring projects. Maintain a running trackers of all those cases, matters, projects. Work with team to ensure that all new cases are entered in the tracker and are updated regularly. Assist with preparing regulatory filings. Triage requests for non-standard contract terms. Support audit and assessment activities. Acts as notary for regulatory filings. Administer compliance training. Maintain case management projects, legal research library, etc. Anticipate and assume responsibility for different staffing needs. Qualifications: BA/BS degree required. 2-3 years of work experience required, preferably as a paralegal or related profession. Ability to read, write and speak English. Strong analytical and research skills. Strong project management skills. Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to organize self and others. Thorough knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate potentially detailed and complex information to others. Aptitude and willingness to work with complex procedures. Demonstrated strong attention to detail. Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing priorities in a professional manner. Ability to work independently and with a team. Willingness and ability to assume new tasks and responsibilities. Strong service orientation, and an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with users, peers, office and firm management, and outside business partners. Ability to work well under pressure, facilitate solutions, and meet deadlines and milestones for projects assigned.
