Legal Secretary The candidate will perform duties : Provide administrative support to multiple attorneys; Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues and partners; Extensive Transcription; Prepare and file various legal documents, such as appeals, motions or petitions in state and federal court; Open new files, including conflict checks and engagement letters; Enter attorney time in time and billing system; Maintaining attorney calendars; Case list management and monthly reports utilizing Excel; Create PowerPoint presentations; Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and provide timely reminders. Must have accurate typing speed of 70+ wpm. Should have knowledge of legal terminology and court system regulation and proficient in transcription as well in Microsoft Office programs, including PowerPoint and Excel. Must have 2 years of experience.
