Legal Secretary/Assistant Candidate will provide general administrative support for both lawyers and paralegals. Will: Prepare, format, proofread, and edit a variety of legal documents, briefs, correspondence, and other written material; maintain the electronic and case files which involves reviewing and saving emails and other documents in accordance with firm naming conventions; assist with trial preparation as needed; process and distribute mail; make copies, prepare binders and set up files; file pleadings with federal and state courts; greet clients and answer phones; assist with a variety of other projects as needed. Qualifications: Prior experience in a law office is preferred. A strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and enthusiasm for work product are firm requisites. Excellent attention to detail, and is adept at formatting and editing large volumes of written material; is well-organized and able to juggle many projects and activities at once; is creative in coming up with solutions; has excellent computer skills; has excellent people skills;has a good attitude and is reliable and punctual.
