Immigration Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities: Organizing case documents and files and updating internal database as necessary. Reviewing all documents and making initial determination regarding information that is privileged or that otherwise requires redaction. Drafting and filing pleadings in federal court via E-filing and PACER/ECF. Calculating deadlines for affirmative and responsive actions in litigation. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with court deadlines. Working and communicating with clients and the litigation team. Assisting with all aspects of trial preparation and presentation, if necessary. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Paralegal certificate or equivalent education and/or work experience preferred. Must have 1-2 years of experience, be well-organized, demonstrate an ability to multi-task and work independently, and be detail-orientated. Working knowledge of federal civil litigation rules and practice Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficient in MS Office; specifically, Word and Excel, as well as Adobe Acrobat Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and urgency of deadlines. Knowledge and ability to adhere to the highest level of confidentiality at all times. Must be articulate and a team player with excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
