Corporate Legal Secretary The candidate will be preparing, revising and redlining documents. Will be creating copying and mailing correspondence to clients and various government agencies. Organizing, preparing and mailing closing binders. Preparing and filing pleadings in Federal Court and in arbitration/mediations. Maintaining pleading binders. Preparing and assisting in commercial, financing, merger and acquisition closings. Tracking certified mailings and overnight deliveries. Significant contact with clients by phone and correspondence. Calendaring appointments, booking conference rooms and meals. Transcribing voice recordings. Entering time for attorneys. Processing expense reimbursements. Maintaining tickler systems. The candidate should have High School diploma. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Should have 2-5 years of experience. Must have excellent organizational skills and ability to balance competing priorities. Superior communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Must have proficient knowledge of Outlook and Word. Knowledge of FileSite and CMS a plus. Familiarity with PACER filing system is needed. Familiarity with UCC filing procedures is essential. Familiarity with FileSite document management, and CMS (time entry and expense reimbursement) systems is needed.
