Immigration Attorney- Contract / Part-Time The candidate will assist with case processing. Review of USCIS applications including family-based submissions, I-601/601A waivers, VAWA/U Visa, EAD applications, etc. Attendance at USCIS interviews and INFOPASS appointments. Immigration court appearances (generally for master calendar hearings only, though merits hearings appearances may be available as well). Drafting and review of motions, briefs, and appeals in removal proceedings. Must be a barred attorney with 2+ years of family-based and/or removal defense experience. Employment-based immigration experience preferred. Experience with family court aspect of Special Immigrant Juvenile cases desired. Experience with federal district court cases including mandamus, APA, or habeas corpus preferred.
