Litigation Attorney The candidate will manage cases from inception to completion. Will prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies. Draft court pleadings. Handle discovery, including filing and defense of motions. Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person. Other duties and special projects as needed/ Must have Bachelor's Degree with a Juris Doctorate degree. Previous experience in litigation, real estate and/or mortgage law preferred. Admission to practice law in the state of California and/or Hawaii is essential. Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Must have ability to interpret client systems. Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet. Must have excellent written/analytical/oral advocacy skills and an active license to practice law in the state of Hawaii, or alternatively, have an active license to practice law in California and be willing to obtain a license to practice law in Hawaii.
