Associate Attorney Candidate must have licensed in Kansas and Missouri with 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably with experience representing creditors in state court. Must have: Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume role (including keeping up with email and voicemail); Ability to work closely with support staff and other attorneys to maximize efficiency; Ability to communicate with clients, opposing attorneys and pro se litigants in a professional and respectful manner; Ability to draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents as necessary; Ability to exercise independent judgment related to case progress and resolution; Ability to make court appearances (including traveling) for dockets, motion hearings and trial as necessary; Performing all other duties and projects assigned by partners.
