Immigration Paralegal The candidate will assist senior attorneys in managing their caseload. Will pro-actively and effectively communicate with clients and third-party vendors via email and phone. Provide information and assistance to clients regarding legal procedures (NOT legal advice). Process/draft petition forms, support letters and correspondence. Prepare and file a full range of immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions, including H-1B, L-1, TN, E-1/2, E-3, O, P, J, PERM, EB1-1/2/3, EB2/3 I-140, and AOS/Consular Processing, within expected timelines and as assigned by the manager, for submission to the appropriate government agency. Process incoming immigration paperwork from clients and government agencies, including updating and maintaining our immigration tracking database. Effectively and efficiently monitor cases and track deadlines and expiration dates. The candidate must have 2 years of experience as an immigration paralegal. Must be proficient at MS Office and enjoy learning new computer applications, including case and matter management software. Excellent English language verbal and written skills is required. Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese or other foreign language skills highly desired.
