Debtors Bankruptcy Legal Assistant / Paralegal The candidate will, under the supervision of an attorney, work on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases from Filing to Discharge. Will create and draft schedules and plans for Chapter 7 & 13 cases. Work independently scheduling hearings and client appointments. Must have 2+ years of prior bankruptcy debtor experience. Should know (or be trainable) on Best Case software. Must know ECF e-filing and Pacer Case Search System. Should be knowledgeable of Southern District Court Rules and Regulations as well as Motions to Value, Motions to Extend, Motions for Relief, Motions to Modify and Objections to Claims. Time Matters, Blue Stylus and other Trustee document submission portal experience a plus. Must be bilingual in Spanish.
