Senior Paralegal - Insurance Defense Duties: Order and organize medical and employment records. Prepare documents for production. Communicate with the client and other counsel. Prepare for trial, including witness and exhibit lists. Send documents to retained experts. Schedule inspections, schedule and coordinate depositions. Coordinate investigation of claims, initial drafts of discovery, summarize case specific documents. Requirements: 4-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or associate degree in paralegal studies. Previous law firm experience, 5-7 years litigation experience preferred. Experience with insurance defense strongly preferred. experience in Commercial Transportation and personal injury defense. Experience in Catastrophic personal injury/wrongful death and Commercial Transportation. Intermediate and above proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with teammates as well as clients.
