Legal Secretary The candidate must be an experienced in trial work preparation, ability to manage case load and scheduling, prepare legal and non-legal documents and correspondence using in house and software system forms. Utilize word processing and/or presentation software to create, edit, revise, format, proofread and/or print a wide range of document types. Utilize scanning hardware to scan documents to PDF or word processing files. Organize and manage office procedures. Maintain files, records, attorneys calendar and time records. Prepare attorneys' client billing with SOS. Take and transcribe dictation. Experience with courts and on-line court filing systems. Assist with attorneys' administrative and personal work with light bookkeeping for practice such as 941 and Quickbook reports. Manage firm resources responsibly. Should have working knowledge and proficiency using MS Word, Adobe PDF and ProDoc. Typing skills at 65 words per minute.
