Legal Secretary The candidate's duties include: Drafting and formatting pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents; Creating shells for discovery responses and preparing templates and forms; Filing documents with the court, using experience e-filing systems or attorney services; Processing incoming and outgoing mail and faxes; Handling large volume of email internally and externally, communicating with clients, experts, counsel; Handle all trial, arbitration, and mediation preparation; Place subpoena orders for records; Organizing and updating electronic files in accordance with firm standards; Maintaining attorney and firm calendar, contacts, tasks, and reminders; Coordinating, scheduling and confirming meetings and appointments; Preparing files to be closed after conclusion of legal matter; Screening telephone calls and recording messages as needed; Adhering to firm's high standard of excellence; Provide full administrative support to attorneys. Should have Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal certificate with 1-3 years relevant experience in civil litigation, preferably at a medical Malpractice or personal injury firm. Experience with E-File for all courts. Experience with HotDocs automated forms & ProLaw is a plus. Must have strong organizational, and communication skills, Microsoft Office suite, eCopy, Adobe & ability to E-File all courts; Experience with HotDocs automated forms & ProLaw is a plus.
