Legal Administrative Assistant (legal Secretary) The candidate will provide support to attorneys and partners within one or more of twenty-three practice areas. Will be responsible for: document creation, which will require transcribing, composing drafts, revising, proofreading and maintaining a variety of legal documents (i.e. memoranda, discovery, pleadings, etc.). Administrative tasks will necessitate filing, coding and organizing documents, entering client billable time, and opening new files. Coordination of travel, conferences and depositions is also to be expected. Should have 5+ years of legal support. Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook. Should have full knowledge of filing in federal and state courts. Some college (Associates degree preferred).
