Immigration Paralegal The candidate will be calendaring and keeping track of important filing deadlines and appearance dates. Assisting in preparing and assembling immigration applications and petitions, including family-based visa petitions, waivers, national interest waivers, residency and citizenship applications, applications for victims of violent crimes or human trafficking, and applications for asylum, withholding of removal, and protection under the Convention Against Torture or cancellation of removal. Correspondence with clients, attorneys and government entities. Experience using Microsoft Offic. 2-3 years of experience working in an immigration law firm or similar organization performing immigration legal services. Proficiency in Immigration Court and USCIS procedures. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Detail and deadline oriented. Excellent communication skills.
