Immigration Attorney The candidate will be reporting to the Managing Attorney. Collaborating with the Paralegals and the Managing Attorney. Managing independent caseload. Preparing/reviewing applications for nonimmigrant visas, permanent residency and secondary benefits for foreign nationals. Processing and filing nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions. Petition and Application review and revision. Drafting letters and other communications. Keeping clients apprised of the progress of their cases. Responding to immigration inquiries in a timely manner and adhering to submission deadlines. Must be bilingual English/Spanish, with dominance of spoken and written English. US Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited US Law School is required. Should be admitted to at least one state Bar. Should have 1-3 years of immigration law work experience. Strong preference for Business Immigration Experience. Should have the ability to collaborate with immigration attorneys and paralegals, as well as support staff. Extensive knowledge of visa, permanent residency, and secondary benefit applications are needed. Experience in preparing petition packages for review and filling is needed. Exceptional writing and communication skills are essential. Should exhibit experience and knowledge of immigration applications such as E, L, O, H, M, F, P, B, TN visa applications/petitions, PERM, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, EB-5, marriage/family-based petition/applications, naturalization applications, etc.
