Real Estate Paralegal The candidate's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting the Firm in real estate client matters; creating, proofing, editing and revising correspondence and legal documents; closing transactions; conducting title examinations; traveling to various courthouses in North Carolina; recording and filing necessary instruments; maintaining files; monitoring the progress of open real estate matters; and, following up to ensure all required actions are completed in a timely manner. Should be driven, multi-task oriented, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be able to function well in a fast-paced environment. Should have a Bachelor's Degree or a combination of an Associate Degree from an approved Paralegal Technology Program through the American Bar Association and 3 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal or similar position. Commensurate relevant work experience may substitute for education.
