Part-Time Personal Injury Paralegal Duties: Conserve attorney's time by reading, reviewing, verifying, and routing correspondence, drafting routine letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications; organizing client conferences, and attorney meetings; scheduling couriers, court reporters, expert witnesses, and preparing expense reports. Represent the attorney by communicating and obtaining information; following up on delegated assignments; knowing when to act and when to refer matters to the attorney. Qualifications: Should have 2 years of experience in personal injury. Experience opening claims and working with insurance companies and adjusters. Experience resolving property damage. Experience preparing medical specials; compiling, analyzing and summarizing data. Experience managing client treatment including interactions with medical providers and lien holders. Experience preparing Demand packages for first and third-party insurance companies. Speaking Spanish is required. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook, and Needles is a plus. Display strong written and verbal communication skills. Be results-oriented, highly organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and complete all assignments under time constraints.
