Immigration Paralegal The candidate will prepare employment based petitions including H-1B, TN, E-2, L-1A and PERM filings. Will prepare the petitions from beginning to end, including writing support letters for the petitions that require them. Prepare family based applications including adjustment of status and consular processing applications. Assist attorney with marketing activities. Communicate with clients and government agencies as needed. Some administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, scanning documents, etc.
The candidate should have Bachelor's degree. Must have 2+ years of experience preparing the business and family cases referenced above. Must have extensive experience preparing H-1B and PERM applications. Excellent organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills is required. Knowledge of immigration case management systems such as LawLogix, INSZoom or Cerenade is required. Exceptional drafting, proof-reading and verbal and written communication skills is required.
