Personal Injury Paralegal Candidate will work helping injured victims to achieve justice. Will include drafting and responding to written discovery, drafting pleadings, preparing court forms and filings, writing correspondence, answering telephones and scheduling attorney's calendar. The candidate should have a bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate. Must have 2+ years experience in personal injury litigation work in California. 5+ years of strong litigation experience. Experience in the PI Hub in Los Angeles Courts is desirable. Exceptional litigation skills with strong knowledge of State Court rules. Excellent working knowledge of legal documents. Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate effectively with clients. Excellent organizational skills. Experience with e-Filing. Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). Must be a team player and strong ability to multi-task. Spanish speaker is a plus. Should be familiar with the Code of Civil Procedure, Rules of Court, statutes, deadlines, local court rules, and in particular the rules and procedures for the Personal Injury Courts in the County of Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Must have good communication and organizational skills.
