Junior to Midlevel Litigation Associate Attorney Duties: Provide commercial litigation services in most key legal areas. Serve and are knowledgeable about a wide range of industries. Will serve as support for an owner who acts as litigation counsel in commercial business disputes and as general counsel to small and mid-sized privately-owned businesses as well as an owner who focuses his practice on resolving disputes through litigation, arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution for businesses. To provide efficient, meaningful and practical advice, first seek to understand a client s business objectives, the environment in which it operates and the challenges it faces. The candidate will have: Excellent academic credentials; Admission to practice law in New York and the New York Federal District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts; 3 years of law firm experience; Experience managing a caseload between 5-25 cases; Experience making court appearances on a regular basis; Experience with a broad range of industries; Ability to work in a team as well as the ability to handle significant individual responsibilities; and ability to work directly with and be the contact person for clients.
