Plaintiff's Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate reports to Trial Attorney. Extensive client contact. Drafting correspondence, discovery, and other litigation related documents. Document production. Correspondence with medical offices. Schedule deposition. Assists with trial preparation. Maintain calendars. Create and/or maintain meticulous records, spreadsheets, and files. Settlement breakdowns. Meet deadlines. Responsible for managing the day-to-day legal casework. Other related tasks as assigned.
The candidate should have Bachelor's Degree from accredited school. Paralegal certificate is required. Should have 5 years significant personal injury experience. Must have experience in handling all aspects of the litigation process; from intake through trial preparation. High level of attention to detail in writing is required; proofreading or editing skill set is a plus. Must have ability to manage deadlines with multiple priorities, work under pressure, and appropriately handle confidential information. Should have ability to communicate professionally with all levels of personnel in the firm to include clients. Must have the necessary experience to immediately work with in cases of moderate severity and complexity. Strong knowledge of PowerPoint presentations is required. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe; Salesforce software experience a plus.
