Legal Secretary Duties: Producing information by transcribing, drafting, formatting, editing and proofreading legal documents with attention to detail. Will also be responsible for calendaring and must be familiar with court rules and procedures as well as processing and filing documents. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in civil litigation, medical malpractice defense experience would be desirable. Would be able to work independently; as well as be a contributing member of our litigation team. They would be able to track litigation deadlines and ensure local court rules were being followed. Should enjoy the ever changing, fast pace of litigation work. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, be detail oriented, with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a timely manner.
