Title : Immigration Paralegal

Immigration Paralegal The candidate will help with preparing immigration petitions and often work directly with the client and/or attorney. Complete Declaration and Affidavit interviews with clients. Proactively communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding case processing issues, assisting with collecting required documents. Follow internal intake procedures after a client retains our firm. Respond to new client inquiries on various platforms. Make regular updates to our case management system including client information, case tracking information, and client communications. Prepare and draft cover letters and other notices as it relates to Immigration Matters. Assist with overflow tasks. Prepare and file applications with USCIS, including VAWA, Family-Based petitions, adjustment of status, provisional waivers, naturalization, TPS, DACA, U- Visa, T- Visa, and Consular Processing. Must have a High school diploma or equivalent. Should have 3+ years experience with immigration law as a paralegal. Should preferably have 2+ years of VAWA and Adjustment of Status. Experience using Adobe Pro and Docketwise is a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are desired. Excellent computer skills are necessary. Must be able to take ownership of their work and require little to no supervision.
