Commercial Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will be ordering, reviewing and negotiating title insurance commitments and coverages and reviewing and summarizing exceptions for potential problems. Ordering, reviewing and negotiating surveys. Ordering and reviewing UCC and tax lien search reports. Reviewing Purchase/Sale Contracts and preparing and maintaining closing checklists and timelines. Performing due diligence for Real Estate transactions, including reviewing and summarizing leases and other contracts. Coordinating and organizing documents for multi-state and multi-asset transactions. Forming and qualifying new entities, as well as ordering and reviewing corporate and other entity certificates. Preparing and negotiating escrow closing instructions. Preparing closing statements for purchase/sale and loan transactions including computation of recording taxes, rents, real estate taxes and other prorations. Coordinating closings, real estate recordings, UCC filings, disbursement of funds and issuance of title insurance policies and handling post-closing matters. The candidate should have 6+ years of experience as a real estate paralegal. Paralegal education is beneficial. Ability to work on multiple projects autonomously.
