Immigration Attorney The candidate will counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome. Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings. Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects. Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs. Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff. Should have 3+ years of experience in Immigration, family or criminal law. Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must. Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision. Must be a member of the VA BAR. The ability to speak Spanish or other foreign languages is a plus.
