Foreclosure Paralegal The candidate reports to: Managing Attorney. Provide paralegal and administrative support to legal counsel in the Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Departments. The candidate must have 2+ years of experience. Should have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, detailed oriented and have the ability to handle a large volume of work. Knowledge of the whole foreclosure process and Title preferred. Essential Functions: Assisting attorneys with legal research. Assisting attorneys with the preparation of pre-foreclosure documentation. Assisting attorneys with the preparation of demand letters. Ability to understand client financial and loan documents. Ability to calculate and communicate payoff amounts. Processing legal invoices for payment. Monitoring the legal inboxes. Preparing complaint responses. Assisting the research and lien release departments with various tasks. Reviewing emails from Client Services primarily regarding first lien foreclosures. Should have Bachelor's Degree with Minimum GPA of 3.0 or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent or a combination of education and experience. Paralegal certification a plus. Additional legal research certifications and coursework preferred.
