Family Law Paralegal The candidate will be drafting documents, pleadings, emails and correspondence as well as scheduling hearings, trials and mediation. Will be having regular communications with clients, attorneys, judiciary, and other professionals in person and by phone. Good understanding of, and ability to review discovery. Having own set of cases responsible for. The candidate should have 2+ years of recent family law paralegal experience. Must be experienced with family law pleadings, calendaring, billing, E-filing, and knowledge of due dates for family law cases. Experience in reviewing discovery essential. Experience with calculating child support guidelines and equitable distribution worksheets desired. Experience with modern document generating software preferred. Experience with modern family law software desired. Experience with modern law firm management software plus. Must present well with excellent communication skills (both written and oral). Must be skilled user in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software. Good knowledge of dissolution of marriage, paternity, and related family law matters essential. Florida Registered or Certified paralegal preferred. Knowledge of Central Florida court procedures/local rules desired.
