Title : Litigation Paralegal

Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be conducting online research and locating relevant cases, statutes, precedents, opinions, reports and related information (Lexis and Westlaw). Assisting attorneys in collecting, processing and organizing e-discovery from clients and opposing parties. Utilizing litigation support software and databases, to manage, review, tag, and index electronic documents (LAW and Concordance). Indexing and summarizing document production materials. Preparing documents for production, DVD/CD creation, exhibit preparation, load file creation, etc. Reviewing documents for responsiveness, confidentiality and attorney-client privilege. Coding documents for production. Preparing for trial (electronic discovery, exhibit preparation, and assistance in courtroom operating presentations (Trial Director). Cite-checking briefs using Lexis and Westlaw. The candidate must have a college degree and a minimum of 3 years of e-discovery experience (Concordance, Textmap and Casemap). Ability to perform online legal research using Lexis and/or Westlaw is required, as well as extensive experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel. Must be a self-starter who possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
