Attorney -Real Estate The candidate will focus on a variety of real estate matters for local government clients. Representative work includes: Represent clients in the buying and selling of property, from purchase agreement through closing. Title clearance actions for both abstract and Torrens properties (e.g. registration, proceedings subsequent and examiners directives) Prepare easements and plat opinions. Review title commitments and surveys and resolve defects. Certain real estate work relating to eminent domain and development agreements. Support municipal finance attorneys on real estate issues.Experience of or knowledge equivalent to two or more years of real estate related practice. Interest in working with local government clients and demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of projects.
