Commercial Litigation Paralegal Duties: Prepare and finalize pleadings in accordance with applicable State and Federal rules for filing with court; Assist with document retrieval, review, organization, and production; Maintain case pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and research for large volume cases; Cite-check and edit legal documents; Maintain and use document, transcript, and work product databases; Prepare for depositions, i.e., prep. binders, exhibits, and all other discovery related tasks; Conduct legal research and write concise memoranda to summarize results; Organize and prepare exhibit lists and/or privilege logs; Coordinate work with outside document/litigation vendors, including adherence to strict deadlines; Coordinate and assist with trial preparations, i.e., exhibits, witness binders, and demonstratives; Assist with trial site preparation and attend trials; Maintain confidentiality of client information. Qualifications: Bachelors or better. 5+ years of litigation and trial experience required; Experience with Relativity, Bate Stamp, and Redacting is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills; Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and communication (oral and written) skills; Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with or without direct supervision and coordinate multiple projects; Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to locate specific items on the internet; Working knowledge of FileSite or I-Manage; Strong writing and editing skills; Flexibility for unscheduled overtime as needed. Preferred Education and Experience: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred.
