Immigration Attorney The candidate will act as key liaison, communicating with clients for various matters relating to immigration, provide information via telephone, postal mail and email. Prepare court documents, such Motions, Waivers and Notice of Filing. Represent clients during deportation proceedings, USCIS processes and consular processing. Prepare Waivers, U-Visa Cases, Family Petitions, Stay of Deportations, amongst other remedies. Improve effectiveness of case files management, office structure and organization. Prepare, review and analyze cases to ensure sufficiency of evidence and / or documentation, confirming readiness of cases for hearing and responsible for obtaining additional evidence, as necessary. Perform detailed and complex legal research and providing alternative approaches for immigration issue resolutions. Should have 2+ years of experience in the following areas: Deportation and family immigration; Filing for asylum, Cancellation of Removal, SIJS, among other remedies before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). Experience with Employment Based Visas a plus. Must be bilingual (Spanish). Should have in depth experience in immigration law matters.
