Paralegal / Legal Assistant - Immigration The candidate will assist attorneys in the preparation and filing of immigration applications and petitions with government agencies. Will draft legal documents for review by attorneys. Areas of practice include Removal Defense, Asylum, VAWA, U Visas and Family based visas, Permanent Residencies, Naturalization and Consular Processing. Manage complex tasks efficiently, prioritize work load in extremely time-sensitive field of law. Meet strict deadlines; be extremely detail oriented and have the ability to edit carefully. Provide outstanding client service; flexible and adaptable to fast-paced environment; organized. Paralegal certificate preferred. Should have 2-4 years of legal assistant or paralegal experience (including any internship experience) with 2+ years of experience in family based immigration. Should have familiarity and/or experience with the following: I-485 I-864, I-130 DS-260, I-360 I-131, I-90. Bilingual Fluency in Spanish/English is required. Must be technology savvy with proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with case management system is a plus. Must be Fluent in Spanish and English.
