Recently established, the San Francisco office of this large national firm has blossomed and includes attorneys practicing in the areas of corporate law, mortgage banking and consumer finance, public sector technology and government contracts, civil litigation, labor and employment, and energy and project finance. The office anticipates rapid growth for the foreseeable future. The firm enjoys national renown for its commitment to its lawyers' professional development. Salaries are slightly below market.
Pittsburgh office seeks an HR director with 10-15 years of human resources experience with 7+ years at the senior management level of a global company, preferably in a professional services setting. The candidate will ensure strong operational HR support for the business, particularly around the following strategic areas: Recruitment, retention, productivity and development of operational support for the firm's lawyers; management and integration of HR information in the HRIS systems; and streamlining and integration of firmwide HR policies and practices where practical. The candidate must be degreed. An SPHR or GPHR designation is desired. Experience with strategic and functional HR is required. Previous experience in comparable markets in the US, Europe, and Asia considered a plus, as is experience with managing and nurturing direct reports in multiple locations. Ability to travel is also required.
