Paralegal Legal Assistant The candidate's duties include: Communicate with clients, answering routine questions via phone and email; Assist attorneys in drafting, editing and proofreading various documents; Scan and copy and file legal documents in firm's paper and electronic files; Set up, organize and maintain client files; Maintain calendar and task lists within firm's calendaring system. This is a part time position, approximately 25 hours per week, with room to grow. The candidate should be self motivated; able to work with deadlines; able to multi task different cases; able to switch from one task or client to another with little effort; have excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail. He or she must work well on a computer. Knowledge of estate planning, Medicaid, and/or guardianship is preferred. 2 years experience in an office environment necessary, law office experience preferred.
