Litigation/Workers Compensation Paralegal The candidate will assist in the complete intake process with potential clients (gathering information, setting up a file for an attorney to review, scheduling meetings between potential client and attorney, and docketing the Statute of Limitations). Will complete the set-up of clients file, ordering any necessary medical records and itemized billing statements. Assist the attorney in their review of the client's file. Assist in locating experts, drafting demand packages, drafting pleadings, and drafting correspondences for the attorney. Once a Summons and Complaint have been filed with the Clerk of Court, the paralegal is responsible for docketing all relevant deadlines as they become available and notifying the attorneys of upcoming events. Responsible for handling phone calls for attorneys and scheduling appointments as necessary, disseminating information, and keeping up to date on our client status. Also, maintain a comprehensive case list of all active clients as well as a list of all potential clients and arranges regular team meetings to review the case lists. Responsible for filing, providing upcoming weekly task emails, billing clients as necessary, and managing the attorney's calendars.
