Federal Employment Litigation Attorney Candidate will have direct client contact and quickly gain hands-on litigation experience in an administrative law setting. Will receive direct guidance from the senior attorneys in the Firm, and can expect an environment where questions are encouraged and the success of the team is a priority. Will have employment law or litigation experience in the federal sector, including experience with any or all of the following: the EEOC; MSPB, OSC, and OPM. Will be expected to quickly get up to speed regarding the federal employment process with the goal of managing own case load. Will: Bill 1,560 hours per year; Manage full-cycle litigation for cases in front of the EEOC, MSPB, OFO, OSC, and OPM; Draft complaints, motions, discovery, and other case-related documents; Negotiate settlement agreements; Conduct hearings in person, telephonically, and via video-conference; Advise clients regarding their employment matters. Candidate will have 3+ years of experience representing federal employees in employment claims, federal court litigation experience, or other experience needed in a general federal litigation practice. Will include: Bar Admission: GA Bar preferred, other bar admissions considered; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Time management skills, including the ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines; Outstanding attention to detail; Problem-solving skills; and The ability to work both independently and in teams.
