Part-time Immigration Attorney The candidate will be responsible for successful management of an independent caseload. Will conduct client consultations to ascertain immigration relief. Analyze cases, determine case strategies and prepare clients for interviews, hearings and trials. Prepare and draft legal documents such as affidavits, briefs, motions and appeals. Facilitate the preparation of immigration packages for submission to the USCIS and EOIR. Represent clients before the Immigration Court. Participate in community events. Assist director in marketing efforts. The candidate should have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school or be currently attending an accredited law school. Should be an active member in good standing of any State Bar, OR be getting ready to take the Bar in any State. Must have 1+ year of verifiable immigration law experience OR verifiable community service experience (if not a lawyer yet). Fluency in another language is a plus.
