Part Time Legal Secretary/Office Manager The candidate will be responsible for preparation of correspondence, review and editing of legal documents and court filings to correct inaccuracies. Research client files to assist in the drafting of lawsuits, demand letters and related correspondence. Manage all calendar activity for the firm; book travel when necessary; manage and file expenses. Manage case database, assist in pulling active/settled files, start new files and add to client case management system. Answer phones and greet clients, keep office tidy between professional cleanings. Should have BA/BS or adequate professional workforce experience necessary with 2-5 years prior office experience as a legal administrative assistant is preferred. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to interact and collaborate with diverse number of third-parties. Proven record of handing multiple, time-sensitive assignments. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge. Demonstrated aptitude with computers.
