Litigation Paralegal The candidate will work for the Insurance Defense litigation department. Will provide reliable, timely, and efficient litigation support. Will report to the Office Manager. The position entails working with billable paralegal tasks in Insurance Defense practice. Should preferably have a Bachelor's degree and experience of 1 year in Microsoft Office. Languages preferred are Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Must have a Paralegal Certificate. Must have 2-5 years of paralegal experience in all CA state and Federal courts; experience with Insurance Defense is a plus. Must be able to take independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload. Should be detail oriented with strong communication and organizational skills and a team player attitude. Must have superior computer skills, specifically with Outlook; familiarity with Tabs3 and PracticeMaster is helpful. Should have 65-70+ WPM, advanced skills in MS Word formatting, spelling, and grammar. Attention to detail is needed. Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks. Should be personable, and work well with others. Note: Should be willing to start work within 2 weeks of receiving an employment offer.
