Legal Secretary - Temp to Hire Duties: Perform such duties and assignments from attorneys on client cases which include the preparation of routine documents, sending out correspondence, managing calendar and contact information, typing dictated or handwritten documents, and preparing copies. Maintains neat and orderly records for efficient access by attorneys and staff. Answers routine questions by callers or routes calls/messages to appropriate attorneys or staff members. Checks finished work for accuracy, neatness and conformity to standards and procedures. Other research and clerical duties as assigned by attorneys. Performs clerical and other duties as assigned by office manager. Qualifications: Familiarity and experience with office and database software and equipment. Ability to type at 60 wpm. Ability to organize and prioritize workload; ability to meet deadlines. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
