Attorney at Law The candidate should have 1-2 years of experience. Must be licensed in New Jersey and/or New York to work as an Associate directly with the firm s owner. The candidate who have taken the bar exam but have not received their results yet are also welcome to apply. Responsibilities include assisting attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including preparing complaints, demand letters, answers, discovery, legal research and writing, billing, brief writing, communicating with clients and opposing counsel, motions and other responsibilities assigned. We are looking for someone who is positive, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, organized and a fast learner who can stay on top of deadlines. Will be given guidance and training, but also given a significant amount of autonomy to work independently, monitor their own deadlines, meet with clients directly, and occasionally conduct depositions and court appearances.
